The Pirin Mountains in the south west of Bulgaria with their snow-capped peaks and wooded slopes, are stunning and unforgettable for lovers of nature and winter sports. In the foothills of UNESCO designated Pirin National Park lies the heritage town of Bansko and here also is the new, four-star deluxe Hotel Edelweiss, in a pristine forest with views of the mountains- an ideal place for a relaxing stay or a superb skiing holiday.

The Edelweiss was built in 2005, to a high specification and with special attention to detail so guests can expect both facilities and service to be of a high standard. It has the sophistication of a boutique hotel, with split-level restaurant overlooking the swimming pool, red leather sofas in the lounge bar, and luxurious spa.

From the moment you step through the door of the Edelweiss, you will realise that you are somewhere special. The large lobby-bar is designed for people to sit and watch the world go by and the décor combines the tradition of a mountain lodge with the luxury of a modern hotel.

The fifty spacious and comfortable en-suite bedrooms include 28 standard doubles (with zip-link beds), 7 deluxe rooms, and, for those who prefer more space, there are split-level suites of variable size. All rooms are air-conditioned, with mini-bar, hairdryer, telephone, internet connection. Most have views of the mountains, whilst others overlook the forest.

Groups are welcome to use our modern and well-equipped conference suite in the evening for get-togethers and presentations. We can arrange for a local guide to come and tell you about Bansko and the Pirin region.

Perhaps most important of all, you will be warmly welcomed by the staff, many of whom are English-speaking and whose aim is to ensure that you have a memorable stay.
